The Low Impact Dance League is the home of the Holistic Healing Dance Method: a guided soul experience.  This 2 hour class integrates dance, drawing, and guided visualization to help you to connect to your inner strength and wisdom.  

This is a trauma-informed class designed to be gentle on the body and healing for the heart and mind.

Learn new skills and have fun!  No previous dance or art experience required.

Summer’s Bio: 

My studies in the human experience started in the year 2014 when I began to learn about the power of mindfulness and neuroscience. I also began to study philosophy and effective communication. My understandings increased exponentially through 2015 2016 as it became necessary for me to apply it to my life.

With this newfound, deeper understanding of how to apply the teachings, I became a teacher of the material in 2016. I have continued as a student and a teacher of mindfulness and deep awareness for the last 5 years. I have hosted workshops and seminars on effective self- communication, self- healing, and self-love. My teaching style is down-to-earth and focuses on leaving you feeling confident with newfound skills.

My work has evolved over time to focus on mostly on meditation, sound healing, breathwork, and healing movement. My experience in many varied healing modalities includes certifications in Psych-K, Advanced Humanistic Neurolinguistic Psychology (HNLP), and Rapid Resolution Therapy, among others.

This virtual workshop series is designed for yoga instructors and anyone else interested in learning basic anatomy terminology as it pertains to yoga poses.  It is also perfect as a refresher for those yoga instructors who have not reviewed yoga anatomy in a while.  Learn the language of the health professions and how to integrate with healthcare providers.

This course is taught by Dr. Al Jameson, DC.  He is a chiropractor of 16 years, an anatomy and physiology professor of 10 years, a yogi of 11 years, and a yoga teacher of 4 years.  He is also one of the co-founders of YOUniverSOUL Fest and the CEO of YOUniverSOUL Events.
