We will be cooking the traditional Ayurvedic way using the Indian herbs and spices of fall season to balance the Vata Pitta Kapha.
It is also Dussehra on this day!
Vijayadashami, more commonly known as Dussehra, and also known as Dasara or Dashain, is a major Hindu festival celebrated every year at the end of Durga Puja and Navaratri. It is observed on the tenth day of the month of Ashvin, the seventh in the Hindu lunisolar calendar.
Vijayādaśamī (विजयादशमी) is a compound of the two words vijaya (विजय, ‘victory’) and daśamī (दशमी, ‘tenth day’), connoting the festival on the tenth day celebrating the victory of good over evil.
