By purchasing a ticket to and/or otherwise attending Dragonfly Fest, I agree to and understand the following:
Cancellation and Transferability
I understand and agree that Dragonfly Fest tickets and add-ons are non-refundable unless the event is canceled. Event postponement is not a cancellation. Tickets are transferrable to another individual with email notice 24 hours in advance of the event date and time, which means tickets may be sold or given to other individuals.
Liability Waiver
Attending any event carries an inherent risk. As is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be eliminated. If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will listen to my body, discontinue the activity, and ask for support from the instructor. I will continue to breathe smoothly. I assume full responsibility for all damages to myself or my children that may be incurred through participation. Activities and knowledge gained at Dragonfly Fest are not substitutes for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment. Under certain medical conditions, dance, yoga, and other physical activities at events are not recommended or safe. I affirm that a licensed physician has verified my good health and physical condition to participate in such an event. In addition, I will make the instructor or facilitator aware of any medical conditions or physical limitations before any physical activity at Dragonfly Fest. If I am pregnant, become pregnant, or am post-natal or post-surgical, my participation verifies that I have my physician’s approval to participate. I also affirm that I alone am responsible for deciding whether to participate in any activities at Dragonfly Fest, and participation is at my own risk. I hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that I have now or may have hereafter against Dragonfly Fest, its founders, its agents, its business partners, its members, its coordinators, its volunteers, its entertainers, its presenters, and its instructors. I have read, fully understand, and agree to the above terms of this Liability Waiver Agreement. I participate in Dragonfly Fest voluntarily and recognize that my event ticket purchase serves as a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law in the State of Texas.
Photography and Videography
I understand that photographers and videographers, both professional and amateur in the form of other attendees, will be taking photos and videos of my likeness at this event, and they have permission to do so. I also agree to the use of my likeness in any media format in any and all future promotions by Dragonfly Fest or any of its partner organizations and will make no financial claims to its use.
Unique Mindful Events
I also agree to all of the terms and conditions laid out by Unique Mindful Events, LLC, and I hold them harmless as well.
