Presenters and Artists

Thank you for your interest in becoming an entertainer or workshop presenter at our coming event.  Ecstatic Forest Texas is a 5-day festival in the Austin area focused on the concept of healing the spirit through movement.

We are very excited about it and look forward to working with you to maximize the exposure of your message and artistry both prior to and on the day of the event.  We are planning an amazing week full of entertainment and workshops and are envisioning over 500 amazing souls attending this event.

This year, during the daytime, we will have four different types of workshops – Danceshops, Flowshops, Playshops, and other. Danceshops will focus on movement with oneself, Flowshops on movement with props, Playshops will focus on movement with others, and other workshops can be anything mindful that leads to growth, healing, and community. During the night, there will be DJs and bands who can establish a safe space for attendees to dance the night away!

We are seeking performers and presenters who align with the flow of our festival.

In order to ensure a smooth event, all entertainer and presenter proposals must be filled out by the end of the day on March 7, 2022.  Please plan accordingly and fill out the form below early to ensure your event commitment.

• Review all the entertainer and presenter agreements, guidelines, and information.

• Fill out and submit the entertainer and presenter application form and signed agreement at UniqueMindfulEvents.com/presenters.

• You will be contacted by a member of our entertainer and presenter team to answer any additional questions.

• Final entertainer and presenter approvals will be made the week following the March 7 deadline.

• Attend an entertainer and presenter meeting prior to the event.

• Commit to coming to the entire event and have an amazing time!

All entertainers and presenters will be required to attend a mandatory Zoom meeting the week before the event.  This will allow us to finalize event logistics, discuss setup and teardown, give assigned locations, and answer any final questions.

Entertainers and presenters will be given wristbands upon entry.  Wristbands must be worn at all times on the day of the event.  Any entertainer or presenter discovered sharing wristbands will be removed from the event.

• Entertainers and presenters will be assigned a workshop area and given a time slot at the discretion of the Ecstatic Forest Texas planning committee.

• All audiovisual equipment needed beyond a basic microphone and PA system must be provided by the entertainer or presenter and must be listed in the proposal form.  Keep in mind that electricity is available but very limited.

• Internet access WILL NOT be provided. Please make sure to plan entertainment and presentation logistics accordingly.

• Trash/recycling/compost areas will be provided throughout the festival grounds.

• Entertainers and presenters are responsible for their own belongings and the security of their commercial and personal items. Ecstatic Forest Texas assumes no liability, responsibility, or risk for possessions.

• Entertainers and presenters are free to promote and market themselves and their businesses while presenting.  However, if they wish to directly sell any products or services on the day of the event, they must also apply to be a Sponsor or Vendor.  This is a separate process and being accepted as one does not guarantee the other.

• Any pyrotechnic or flammable displays, demonstrations, or products must be approved ahead of time by Ecstatic Forest Texas.  Backup performance plans must be in place in case there is a fire ban during the festival dates.

Load-in and set-up procedures will be discussed with each entertainer and presenter prior to the start of the festival.  All entertainers and presenters agree to be on site for the entire event.  All entertainers and presenters agree to be at their designated workshop or performance areas at least 30 minutes prior to their start times.  Vehicle access may be limited and will be discussed ahead of time.  Please plan accordingly.

Specific load-out instructions and path will be discussed at the entertainer and presenter meeting prior to the festival.

Entertainer/presenter hereby irrevocably consents to the use of Entertainer/presenter’s image (by means of photograph or any other likeness of Entertainer/presenter), voice and name, either in whole or in part and in any and every form, style, size or color, and any related biographical material of Entertainer/presenter, edited as Ecstatic Forest Texas may deem appropriate, by Ecstatic Forest Texas and its agents, licensees, nominees, affiliates, successors and assigns (including print, broadcast, television, radio, electronic (including Internet), outdoor (including billboards) and any other advertising media now in existence or hereafter created), for advertising, publicity, business, trade or art purposes or any other purpose. Entertainer/presenter agrees that Entertainer/presenter’s image may be used either alone and/or in conjunction with sketches, cartoons, captions, films, artwork, textual matter or other photographs. Ecstatic Forest Texas will have all rights to register copyrights and renewals thereof in all materials utilized by Ecstatic Forest Texas pursuant to this Agreement. Entertainer/presenter understands that Entertainer/presenter will receive no payments or royalties. The consideration for Entertainer/presenter’s signing this Agreement is the promotional value that Entertainer/presenter may receive from Ecstatic Forest Texas’ promotional campaign. Ecstatic Forest Texas will not be required to use Entertainer/presenter’s image, voice or name for any minimum amount of advertising.

Entertainers and presenters attending the event are encouraged to distribute promotional items but are asked to consider the social and environmental impact of the items and encouraged to be creative in the solution.  All entertainers and presenters are encouraged to donate items for the volunteer thank you bags to be given to all the event volunteers.  These items will be collected upon your arrival at the festival.
