Frequently Asked Questions

How can I buy a ticket? Should I bring cash to the festival?

The only way to buy a ticket will be via the payment options available on this ticket page (major credit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Venmo, and PayPal Pay Later).  There will be no cash ticket purchases on-site or elsewhere.  The box office is your phone or computer.  The ticket table at the festival will only be to check people in who have already purchased tickets, so please purchase your tickets prior to arriving at the festival.  Also, cell signal may be spotty on the festival grounds and there will be no wifi provided, so please plan ahead and purchase your ticket prior to arriving.

Food and other vendors at the festival will have their own payment methods and will be a mix of cash, card, and other digital transactions.  We would suggest bringing some cash just in case vendors have difficulty connecting to the internet to run cards and other digital transactions.

What is the camping and lodging situation?

On-site tent camping is included in your general admission ticket.  You must bring your own equipment.  There are also carside camping and van/RV camping upgrades available (see below).  The venue is only about 20 minutes from Austin so there are also many lodging options.  If staying offsite, be mindful of the car gate hours (see below).

What is the parking situation?

These are the required parking passes and vehicle camping upgrades.  A festival ticket purchase is required to get these add-ons.  You can do both purchases in one transaction.  Just add tickets here to the cart as well as your parking pass and then check out.  Add these items to your cart here.

Parking options and upgrades are as follows:

  • General Parking Pass ($20 plus fees) – Every car parking at the festival is required to have a parking pass and must park in the designated parking area.  We encourage carpooling to minimize our carbon footprint.  Fee is for the entire duration of the festival.
  • General Parking Pass + Carside Camping ($60 + fees) – Upgrade your parking pass and set up your tent near your vehicle in the designated parking area.  Great option if you have a more elaborate camping setup and don’t want to bring all of your camping gear inside the festival grounds.  Fee is for the entire duration of the festival.
  • General Parking Pass + Self-Contained RV Camping ($100 + fees) – Upgrade your parking pass to a self-contained van or RV set up in the designated parking area.  No electricity, water, or dump site will be provided.  Fee is for the entire duration of the festival.
  • General Parking Pass + RV Camping with Hookups ($180+ fees) – Upgrade your parking pass to a van or RV set up in the designated parking area with electricity and water hookups (sorry, no sewage or dumping).  Fee is for the entire duration of the festival.

Can I bring my children?

Ecstatic Forest has a vision of an adult-first festival. Though not explicitly adults-only (children will be allowed with a full-price ticket), the festival will be an adult-first atmosphere. Parents will be responsible for their children at all times and must sign a waiver to acknowledge that at the door. Pre-walking infants will be allowed in with a parent without an extra ticket.

What is the food situation?

As a camping festival, you will definitely be able to bring any and all food you wish. We just ask that you minimize or eliminate the use of glass bottles and containers for your safety and those around you. There will also be multiple food, drink, and dessert vendors on-site at the festival, so you don’t have to bring any food.

Will the gates close at night?

There will be hours for the vehicle gate at night and we will update this question with the information.

Will I be able to drive my vehicle to the tent camping area to unload my camping gear and equipment?

No attendee vehicles will be allowed past the parking area. All equipment must be walked in. If you prefer to camp near your vehicle, a carside camping upgrade is available for $60 + fees (link below).

Will the ticket table close at night?

The ticketing table will most likely be between the parking area and the festival grounds. The hours will be between 9 AM and 11:30 PM. You must arrive for the first time between those hours to check in and get your wristband. Once you have your wristband, you can come and go between the parking area and festival grounds 24/7 and there will be overnight security to check your wristbands as you pass by.

What happens if the event gets postponed due to weather or COVID?

We live in very uncertain times, and many events have had to shift event dates for many different reasons. All tickets will remain valid for any new date set for the festival in the case that the event time changes. Please keep in mind that like any other large event, we have a no refund policy even if the event date changes. You can use the ticket on the new date if we postpone, or you can transfer the ticket to someone else (sell or give).

What is your COVID policy and health guidelines?

We believe in adults making adult decisions for themselves and their personal autonomy. That being said, we ask all individuals to take common-sense precautions. Please do not attend the festival if you have symptoms of any illness. Being an outdoor event, everyone is encouraged to make personal decisions about social distancing and mask wearing. We have a strong consent-based culture and therefore any individual’s space and personal autonomy must be honored.  Depending on the state of COVID and other diseases at the time of the festival or any state or local guidelines that may be implemented between now and the dates of the festival, Ecstatic Forest reserves the right to check temperatures at the door, require recent negative COVID tests, or any other measures we feel are necessary to ensure the safety of our attendees. No refunds will be issued for attendees that are unable to attend due to COVID or any other reasons or that refuse to abide by any policies we put in place. However, tickets are transferrable to others (sell or give).

  2. Add us on Twitter @EcstaticForest and share the posts that inspire you.
  3. Join our ambassador program and earn a commission by helping us sell tickets to the festival.  We will show you how.

What is the full general admission ticket price?

Full-price 5-day/4-night general admission tickets are $333 + taxes and fees.  There will be no singe day or weekend passes this year.

What types of workshops can I expect at Ecstatic Forest?

Our main workshop theme is movement and interactivity.  There will be 36 workshops divided into 3 workshop tents, so at any workshop time, you will have 3 options to choose from.  Two of the tents will be dedicated to movement.  This includes individual movement, movement with others, and movement with props.  The third workshop tent will be dedicated to other spiritual and mindful workshops.  All workshops will be 75 minutes in length with plenty of transition time from one workshop to the next for you to socialize, get food, shop at the vendor bazaar, or rest mindfully with what you just learned.  The workshop schedule will be released on March 20.

What type of evening entertainment can I expect at Ecstatic Forest?

Each evening will feature 2 DJ’s or live bands performing 3 hour deep dive sets.  The vibe will be broad with spiritual, world, Afro-Latin, electronic, and trance influences.  The first set will be from 8 PM to 11 PM and the second set will be from 11 PM to 2 AM.  We will have one set on Wednesday evening after the opening ceremony, so please come early.  There will be a mix of headliners and up and coming artists.  We promise you will love the lineup.  The lineup will be revealed on March 3.  Once the lineup is revealed, the admission ticket price will go to full $333 general admission pricing.

Can I bring my pet?

We love pets at Ecstatic Forest, but we also love an environment where people are free to express themselves.  Pets will be allowed on a leash and owners will be responsible for picking up their pet’s waste.  Please bring your own waste bags.  Pet owners will need to sign an acknowledgement when checking in at the front gate.

Can I be nude at Ecstatic Forest?

We honor the right of full self-expression at Ecstatic Forest.  However, since we will have photographers and videographers documenting the event for future promotional purposes, we will be creating a nudity zone near the river.  Also, stay tuned for the workshop schedule for possible clothing-optional offerings.

What should I wear to Ecstatic Forest?

The theme this year is Forest Faeries and Dragonflies so come at your full expression and dress up or down as much as you desire.  The forest will be lit up with colorful lights at night, and we would love for you to add to that color with neon colors or clothes that shine under a black light while also wearing LED lights or environmentally responsible glow sticks.

Plants have provided for us for thousands of years, offering food, shelter, clothing, medicine, companionship, and more. In this workshop, we will discuss the coevolution of humans and our plant family, how the consciousness of plants is expressed through our bodies when we consume them, and the accompanying spiral dance that heals us. We will experience the plants one-on-one by meeting them in their physical form and consuming them via all 6 of our senses: smell, taste, sound, touch, sight, and intuition. By engaging with the plants in this way, we will experience the energetic shift that happens within our bodies as they communicate to us. We will share our experiences with one another and the compare what we have learned to the common knowledge and understanding of the medicine that those plants offer us. • 5:00PM [Thinkshop Tent - Red] - Can Mushrooms Save The Planet?5:00PM - 6:15PMOur planet is facing many epidemics. From starvation to our plastic overloads, from nuclear power plant meltdowns to desertification (our deserts expanding), fungi seem to provide answers.

What if I were to tell you that the planet as we know it, with all its many plants and animals, may have been created by fungal creatures billions of years ago, and we are all decedents? What if I told you that fungi have the ability to clean up our planet, and that we can either choose to work with them or they will do the work themselves long after humans are extinct? You might say that all sounds far-fetched and crazy. For the past 6 years I have been studying fungi and all its complexities.

I have spoken to many of the top experts in the fields of mycology, permaculture, and the likes, as well as I have read books, gone on site to location, and have continued to research and ask questions. I am currently producing the indie documentary, “Can Mushrooms Save the Planet?” I have been asking the questions, and am very passionate about sharing answers, and have been spreading the information like spores. Co-Founder - Ecstatic Forest Festival

Ever since NiNii was a child, she knew she had a calling to heal others. In 2016, she became a Certified Nursing Assistant and then in 2019, she became a Registered Nurse. Even in Nursing School, she knew she did not belong in the modern medicine practice and aimed to become a Holistic Nurse. She began practicing meditation at 16 years old and when she became a nurse, she started to educate her patients on the holistic healing aspects of meditation and breathwork. In 2021, she moved to Texas and began facilitating weekly breathwork and meditation session at The Monkey Tree. During her life, music was always an important part of her life and she loved to dance, but feared the judgement of others. In 2021, she discovered Ecstatic Dance and that it is a judgement-free/safe space and by practicing this daily, she instantly blossomed. Ecstatic Dance and inner-child play gave her not only pure bliss and confidence, but also the strong ability to connect with herself, others, and her Higher Self. During this time, she also started practicing Tantra. Tantra gave her a new aspect on life in that we are all connected to the Universe and how important love, connection, sensuality, and intimacy is. After discovering the healing powers of Ecstatic Dance and Tantra, she made it her duty to show the world this, but she also wanted to intigrate all the things she loved that has helped her grow to become the Magical Love Fairy that she is: holistic healing, spirituality, music, community, and event planning. That is when she knew that her life path was to host Ecstatic Forest Festival!

Having committed herself to the study of mycology for over a decade, Rayne is in a unique position to teach the world at large about the world-changing opportunities and effects that the kingdom fungi have to offer significant sections of our planet, its people, and their day to day lives.

From de-desertification to psychological well-being, she has an intuitive sense of the impact that our attention to the fruiting bodies of underground networks have to offer the human race and its ability to change the planet around the peoples of the world.

All human activity can be likened to the organic model, and none so efficient as the single-celled walls of mycelial structures.

As an independent documentary filmmaker, Rayne has been gathering, editing, recording, and producing a decade-long project to introduce to the world. This labor of love, passion, and want for a better world is soon to present itself as a perspective shifting film called, “Can Mushrooms Save the Planet”.

Compiling interviews from artists and researchers, scientists and philosophers – Rayne has been received by many, many, individuals and groups looking not only to change the way we think about our planet, but to implement substantial change world-wide.

Rayne is a captivating speaker and interviewer and is well-received by her peers – leaders in the arenas they participate.

Founding the Four Corners’ Mycological Society and implementing the Psychedelic Club of Durango as a chapter of the national movement for the education, lobby for the decriminalization and legalization, use in physical and mental health treatments, and better understanding of the natural and synthetic benefits of these oft overlooked substances shows her overall commitment to not only movement itself, but the people who would and will most benefit from these under researched tools that have already proven to disrupt the entire pharmacological industry.

The research done by Rayne and at her direction have already shown to be in lock-step with the newly born industry’s findings in the last few years.

CEO and founder of the Colorado Mushroom Company, Rayne is building a port to which seekers of self and understanding of this world may find better ways to integrate the gifts of nature into the everyday lives of people. Her products have been used to benefit people suffering from myriad ailments, all whom are relieved in no small part by her implementing products based on her research and understanding of the overall benefit that the kingdom fungi has to offer mankind.

    Thinkshop Presenter

Sebastian is a 32 year young being born and raised in Colombia. He studied business and when he graduated from it he finally understood the reason he had studied it. At the graduation speech, the speaker said something that resonated. “we don’t know a lot about specific things, we choose to know a little about many things, little enough to understand it and have good conversations with experts and specialist in all those fields”

This glued so many pieces together and explained to him why he had always been all over the place experiencing so many different things that didn’t seem to contribute to each other.

He kissed his first girlfriend when he was four, sold sandwiches at school since he was eight, played drums from 12, smoked weed at 14, played soccer, football, volleyball, baseball, chess, rock climbed for some time, skied a couple of times, went to the gym every day for a long while, lived in England for some time, traveled a couple of countries on his motorcycle and recently moved to the United Estates. He opened an Italian restaurant when he was 19, and has worked as: Chef, event organizer, investor, Dj, bartender, director of investments, worked in real estate developments for 7 years, created a couple of art galleries by himself and a small team he hired, worked in design and architecture, opened an artisan workshop, studied photography, took a 6 months university class on how to grow cannabis, then legally grow up 19 healthy and very productive plants in his front yard… Sebastian gardens every day and currently supplies 10% to 15% of his diet from his own plants, he is working to grow that percentage by 50% this year by volunteering more at gardens and by expanding his own. He spends most of his time doing yoga, sharing with family and friends, studding quantum physics and related subjects and facilitating drum circles. This year he is planning to smile and enjoy life a lot more, as well as open a nonprofit that integrates science, consciousness and community.

  • Tiffany Fede

    Tiffany Fede

    Playshop Presenter

After traveling and communing with Mama Gaia in a school bus for 2 years, Tiffany has found herself pulled to grow roots in the magnetic portal that is Austin, Texas. Her time of self reflection and attunement with the divine spirit within her cells has allowed her to truly feel the pulse of connection to all. As the wounded healer she has used the art of Alchemy to turn pain into pleasure and has been mastering the game of life on this planet. Embodiment is the key to true union with Source. Tiffany invites her students to release all fear and connect to their sacred temple as the triune beings they are. Bringing higher self light body into the physical is the ultimate goal. What does this embodiment feel like? It means creating an inner temple by uniting your mind, body, and spirit. In this sacred space, you recognize the way each cell is communicating. You also allow your body to speak. As you honor the power of your body…you honor the divinity which is your natural essence.
How she got to this place of ultimate freedom was through loss. Her husband passed in 2020. She was at the time, a Reiki Master, Intuitive Reader, and Channel. Putting down her work, she chose to focus on healing, and connecting to her then 5 year old son. How did they fit into this world now without that beautiful masculine presence. Always having the soul urge to live minimally with “things” but maximally with nature, she got rid of nearly all her belongings and bought a school bus. Her call to the mountains and forests of the northwest was palpable and upon arrival her body had such a profound reaction she knew this was where she was meant to be.
The essence of these beings held her as she wept, healed her soul and opened her heart. Through unification with the magic of plant medicine, new awareness of gifts began to unfold before her.
This was the beginning of her tantric practice of which she had no name. Only recently was she told “your practicing tantric arts”. All she knew was that she felt alive, and connected to everything.
Clarity, inspiration and love, along with assistance from her love on the other side has allowed her to ride the wave of fortune.
You see, well all have battles, or struggles, we must face and walk through or pain. The healing never ends, the journey to awakening for a soul always open hearted to learn is magical and filled with bliss.
Focusing on pleasure, and satisfaction, embodying the essence of truth and Goddess magick, has allowed her to both watch and experience her unfoldment.
Being mother, maiden and crone at once she allows herself to experience life with excitement of her inner childs’ innocent awe struck eyes. The sensual enthusiasm of the maiden, the strength of mother and even still channeling the quiet wisdom of crone, which knows when all that is needed is a deep long embrace, where words cannot give the sacred nourishment only an embrace will do.
Her wish is to share this with the world however it wishes to come through.
